The photo above would appear to be a casual family snap from the beach, but in actual fact both those figures are the same person - artist Chino Otsuka, in 1976 and 2005.

Imagine: Finding Me, is Otsuka’s series of "double self-portraits," using "a time machine of digital tools." I'm sure i'm not alone in being jealous of Otsuka's time machine! There's many photos i'd love to step back into, just for a little while.

I really like the way Otsuka elder appears as the guardian to her younger self. The result is pretty magical.
