made by pilgrim: inspiration/mood board & competition!

do you remember i mentioned in yesterday's 7by7 post that i'm taking the 'blogging your way' e-class by decor8's holly becker? well how is this for a homework assignment: creating an inspiration or mood board to reflect you, your blog and it's content! to view a larger size, visit flickr. i had so much fun cutting and pasting, and arranging. it made me think of being little and keeping a scrapbook of things clipped from TV guide. i remember being particularly fond of franklin mint ornaments!! the horror. let's never speak of that again.

what do you think, regular readers, is it a fair representation of draw! pilgrim? you might even recognize some things from past posts. in fact, the first person who can find (and link to the original posts) three things on the board that i've posted about previously will win an as-yet unreleased A3 print designed by me! there are actually five things on there you could name, but why make it too hard!? good luck!

Hi Pilgrim,
I've been meaning to stop by for so long now and say hi - I'm sorry it's taken me so long. It's so great to see another Melbourne girl in the mix at BYW and a gorgeous Illustrator too! Really love your style Pilgrim and this is a great mood board. Do you do all your work in Illustrator? I loved reading about your U.S adventures your photos were fantastic!
Your cat Pringle looks gorgeous - I have one too, her name is Buffy she is fat and fluffy and lolls about on my work but I wouldn't have it any other way... speak to you soon,
Alli xx

holly - thanks for stopping by! glad you're diggin' my mood :)

allison - don't apologize, glad you stopped by at all! i do 90% of my work in illustrator, with a few initial sketches on paper. my hand-drawn work is very different to my digital stuff. i do very folky, fine line style drawings by hand. it's a bit of a split personality: bright digital work, monochrome hand drawn work haha

This inspiration board is fabulous. Packed with detail and colour. I came to your blog from the BYW group and am looking forward to reading your work. Weirdly we both use the same colours on our blogs for text, pink and green. Another reason why I know I will like your blog!
